Career and Field Exposure Seminars
Young Knights organized a series of live seminars throughout Season 1, bringing professionals from law, medicine, finance, architecture, and other fields to share their experiences with young participants. These sessions provided students with meaningful insights into diverse career paths and academic disciplines beyond the classroom.
Law School #101
To provide participants with a comprehensive overview of law school and legal practice, while deepening their understanding of the legal system through practical simulation and direct engagement with legal practitioners and students.
The event commenced with participant registration, followed by a talk show segment in which guest speakers discussed their experiences navigating law school and the legal profession. The session continued with an interactive discussion on court proceedings and the structure of the Indonesian legal system. In the final segment, participants engaged in a moot court simulation with a surprise theme, allowing them to experience legal advocacy firsthand in a guided and structured setting.
Finance
To equip participants with fundamental knowledge of investment and financial management, enhance awareness of the importance of financial planning, and provide practical insights from an experienced investment consultant.
The event commenced with an opening session, followed by a presentation delivered by the guest speaker, Artissa Panjaitan, an investment consultant who shared her knowledge and professional experience in the field. The session continued with an interactive Q&A segment, during which participants had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of investment principles and personal financial management. The event concluded with a closing session facilitated by the committee.
PTN Major Expo
To assist students in identifying and selecting suitable university majors and institutions through direct consultation with mentors from leading public universities in Indonesia, while broadening participants' academic perspectives and expanding their professional networks.
The event was conducted as an offline expo and featured interactive booths alongside structured mentoring sessions. Participants had direct access to experienced mentors who provided guidance on academic pathways, university life, and the selection of appropriate fields of study. The event also incorporated engaging activities that fostered an informative and interactive environment, encouraging participants to explore a wide range of academic disciplines and career possibilities.
Architecture
To introduce participants to the discipline of architecture and provide practical insights into the design and implementation of architectural projects, while fostering networking opportunities and increasing participants' interest in pursuing architecture as a career.
The seminar featured Mirna Listianti as the guest speaker, who shared her professional experience in managing and executing a variety of architectural projects across different scales and contexts. The session comprised a structured presentation followed by an interactive discussion, during which participants were encouraged to engage with the speaker on topics relating to design philosophy, career development, and project management. Participants also benefited from networking opportunities and received an e-certificate of participation upon completion.
Medicine
To introduce participants to the field of medicine and provide hands-on insights into medical skills and clinical procedures, while offering career guidance and inspiration from practicing medical students and professionals.
The seminar featured guest speakers from the medical field who shared their professional journeys and insights into medical education. Participants engaged in a hands-on session that included suturing demonstrations and guided walkthroughs of medical equipment and instruments. The event also provided career guidance and practical advice for students interested in pursuing medicine, offering an accessible and engaging glimpse into the realities of medical practice.
Basic Knowledge and Action in Facing Cancer
To raise public awareness about cancer by delivering fundamental knowledge on the disease, its prevention strategies, and the appropriate responses and actions individuals should take when facing a cancer-related diagnosis or situation.
The seminar featured qualified medical professionals who delivered informative and accessible presentations on cancer-related topics, covering the fundamentals of oncology, early detection, prevention, and appropriate courses of action for patients and their families. The session was conducted in an engaging and interactive format, encouraging participant questions and discussion. The event provided meaningful educational insights for all attendees and reinforced the importance of proactive health literacy.
